FARCARIBE sponsor EMPROA/INCU, an incubator established in 2016 by Afro-Costa Rican Professionals Association (EMPROA, the Spanish acronym) which has already received three full scholarships to study abroad and begin the mentoring of local youth on the specialization of the entrepreneur field.

Ms. Tracee Akent, Director EMPROA/INCU, toured several USA cities in 2016 learning their entrepreneur programs. Early 2017 she was invited to Santiago, Chile, to participate in the “We Americas” entrepreneur conference.  Later in 2017 she also was invited to represent CR in “Global Entrepreneurship” conference in Hyderabad, India, on a State Department scholarship.

FARCARIBE currently work with EMPROA/INCU to establish the incubator center, recruit and training future entrepreneurs as an economic development component of the International Decade for the People of African Descent in the Americas.
